เป็นขาประจำแทบทุกบ้าน ตัวเล็ก บินไว ไซส์ประมาณ 4-6 มม. มีเกล็ดสีดำสลับขาว ตามลำตัว เป็นพาหะนำโรค ไวรัสซิกา และ ไข้เลือดออก ชื่อของมัน คือ ” ยุงลาย ” เด็กเล็กและสตรีมีครรภ์ควรป้องกันตัวเองจากยุงลายอย่างเคร่งครัด
